Good Feed • Season 13 | Gendone Shares a “Scientific Nutrition, Precision Empowerment” Solution

At the meeting, Professor Qingxiang Meng shared the topic "Problems and Future Road of Beef Cattle Industry in China". Professor Meng pointed out that with the improvement of national living standards, domestic beef consumption demand continues to grow, but domestic supply remains highly dependent on imports. At the same time, the level of domestic large-scale farming has gradually improved, and the industry is moving steadily towards intensification and standardization. In this context, how to achieve "high-quality breeding" and "high-quality production efficiency" has become the key to industry breakthrough, and it also breeds huge development space and market opportunities.
Subsequently, Professor Zhenming Zhou further revealed the technical path to achieve efficient and healthy breeding from the perspective of nutrition in the theme sharing of "Nutritional Key Points and Requirements of Beef Cattle in Different Stages".
Professor Zhou emphasized that whether nutrients and their metabolites can bypass ruminal degradation and be efficiently absorbed and utilized in the small intestine is a core determinant of nutrient utilization efficiency in ruminants. This insight highlights the importance of precision nutrition strategies to improve feed resource conversion efficiency under conditions of limited feed resources in China’s beef cattle industry.
Focusing on these industry insights and key technologies, Gendone has established a scientific product system centered on "accurate arrival and efficient utilization", aimed at improving growth performance and meat quality in beef cattle. Product research and development is closely aligned with practical industry needs, with technological innovations designed to enhance the stability of nutrient metabolites in the rumen and their bioavailability in the small intestine, thereby creating practical value at the farm level. Gendone's specialized coated products for ruminants are developed based on a deep understanding of beef cattle physiology, metabolism, and nutritional requirements.
As a special guest of Gendone, Professor Zhenming Zhou presrnted a study titled “Effect of Coated GAA on the Production Performance of Beef Cattle”. Gendone, in collaboration with the Beef Cattle Research Center of China Agricultural University, conducted a joint study that verified the effectiveness of Gendone’s coated GAA productsin significantly improving the growth performance of beef cattle. Through innovative coating technology, Gendone’s products effectively protect the stability of GAA in the rumen of ruminants, enabling it to bypass ruminal degradation and reach the small intestine for efficient absorption and utilization. By optimizing nutrient transport and distribution within the animal, Gendone’s solutions significantly promote energy metabolism and protein deposition, thereby improving feed conversion efficiency. As a result, carcass performance is enhanced, dressing percentage is increased, backfat thickness is reduced, loin eye area is enlarged, and overall beef quality is improved, helping producers deliver high-quality beef that better meets market demand.
At the meeting, Xiaoli You, Key Account Director of Gendone Ruminant Division, and Daiyi Yang, Technical Service Representative, represented the company in special discussions covering: "Accurate evaluation and application of local raw materials for beef cattle"; "Designing precise diet formulas that balance cost-effectiveness and breeding efficiency"; and "Improving marbling, meat color, and fatty acid composition through precision nutrition during the late fattening and pre-slaughter periods". Their participation provided valuable insights for promoting high-quality development in beef cattle breeding.
Gendone is committed to helping aquaculture enterprises reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance market competitiveness through continuous technological innovation and precise services. By promoting the concept of precision nutrition and scientific breeding, Gendone aims to strengthen the supply capacity and reinforce the quality leadership of the domestic beef cattle industry.
In the future, Gendone will continue to collaborate with universities, experts, and industry partners to advance research on the application of functional amino acids in ruminants, introduce more efficient and environmentally friendly nutrition solutions, and contribute to the stable and high-quality development of the industry.
