NutriBuilder® (Guanidinoacetic acid, GAA) is a high-tech green and efficient feed supplement, manufactured and developed by Beijing Gendone Biotechnology Co., Ltd. It concentrates more than 15-years research and knowledge from Gendone and Chinese agricultural scientists and has been widely accepted and used by local & foreign customers for more than 10 years. As the exclusive precursor of creatine, guanidinoacetic acid was authorized by China, Europe and USA as a new feed additive, and it has been widely proved with significant improvements in growth performance, carcass traits, laying and hatching performance for poultry.

Metabolic pathway in vivo

Guanidinoacetic acid (GAA) is the direct endogenous precursor of creatine in the organism of all vertebrates. Creatine biosynthesis is a two-step process. In the kidney, arginine transfers its amidino group to glycine to synthesize GAA. GAA is transferred to the liver, where S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) gives its methyl group to GAA to synthesize creatine. Creatine is then transported by the bloodstream to the target cells with high energy need, such as skeletal muscle, heart, brain, sperm and immune cells. Creatine plays a key role in energy transfer and supply via creatine-phosphocreatine system. Dietary supplemental NutriBuilder® can increase creatine level in the body by 20%.
Why use GAA in feed?
GAA is the exclusive precursor of creatine in the animal body.
Classic corn-soybean meal diet can not supply enough creatine for poultry.
GAA in feed formula can replace costly animal source material and save feed energy.
GAA can bring poultry better production and slaughter performances.
Advantages
1. NutriBuilder® is in free-flowing white granule, with no dust, no caking and good processing quality.
2. High content of GAA, strict quality control for residues.
① Cyanamide, 300 mg/kg in GAA will cause weight loss, anemia, hypothyroidism, stooping back, tremors, rough fur, pale soft exudative (PSE) meat, nervous disorder and higher death rate.
② Dicyandiamide, 2000 mg/kg in GAA degrades into gaseous cyanide access to stomach acid, causes and aggravates respiratory diseases.
③ Melamine, above 10 mg/kg in GAA reduces feed consumption, weight loss, bladder stones, crystalluria, renal failure and reduces survival rate.
④ Dioxins, above 750 pg TEQ/kg in GAA are extremely harmful to human and animals. Human will suffer reproductive function damage and development problems, immune system damage and cancer after eating even low level of dioxins.
3. With a near density (550 kg/m3 ±10%) as corn and soybean, it can be easily premixed well with feedstuff.

Applications

For broiler

600 g/t NutriBuilder® in the formula can save 50-150 kcal/kg metabolic energy and 460-890 g/t arginine.
NutriBuilder® can improve weight gain by 2-4% and decrease F:G by 0.03-0.1 in broilers. NutriBuilder® can improve meat yield by 2% and breast meat by 20 g, while reduce the abdominal fat level by 10%. Besides,
NutriBuilder® can improve intestinal health and hugely decrease the mortality chicks by more than 50% under heat stress.

For breeder
Proper dose of GAA in breeder feed can enhance semen quality and sperm motility, improve the fertility and hatchability by 5%-10% and reduce the mortality of embryos, increase growth performance of offspring.
